Duties are as follows:
– Delivering to Customers
– Driving a fork lift truck
– Site work/installations at customer’s premises
– Drilling
– Folding steel
– Using a guillotine
– Cutting material on band saws
– Upkeep of shop floor ensuring areas are tidy and safe
40 Hours per week Monday – Thursday 7.45 – 4.30 – Friday- 7.45 – 3.15
This position also involves general maintenance of the factory, general labouring and assisting steel fabricators on site, fitting jobs.

Steel Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker

Applicants must have extensive fabrication and sheet metal experience. To have completed a 3 to 4-year fabrication apprenticeship. Must be skilled in TIG, MIG. Must have good communication skills as this position involves reading instructions and drawings. Site work is also involved with this position therefore a full driving licence is essential. Duties include fabrication of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium products.
40 Hours per week Monday – Thursday 7.45 – 4.30 – Friday- 7.45 – 3.15

Apprentice Fabricator

Excellent opportunity available working for an established fabrications/sheet metal work company based in the Coventry area.
Training will be split between our busy workshop and college attendance, where you will learn all aspects of metal fabrication.
This is a 4 year apprenticeship.
College attendance will be for 3 – 4 years, course content and qualifications to be confirmed.
– You will be trained in all aspects of metal fabrication using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium materials.
– MIG, TIG and MMA welding.
– You will be required to travel to client sites within a reasonable daily travelling distance in order to repair their equipment & install fabrications.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07.45 -16.30 and Friday 07.45 – 15.15 (including an unpaid 30 minute meal break each day).
Overtime opportunities may be available at overtime rates.
A full time post may be available after the completion of the apprenticeship.
